Locusia Oy is a food tech company based in Viikki, Helsinki. We develop and license innovative technologies for the food industry.

With a strong background in plant biotechnology, we specialize in plant protein production technologies and plant-based food solutions. Our patent-pending technology for pulse proteins enables the production of highly soluble and functional plant protein ingredients. These ingredients are particularly well-suited for fermented white or light-colored dairy alternatives and meat substitutes. The potential of this method has already been demonstrated with a cheese product currently available on the market.
